Long years ago, scarf only use on winter. Man or women wore scarf by tied around the neck to keep warm. And now this custom has evolved into a fashionable item in many cultures, particularly among women, although many man using it for their activity. At least at the early 1900s, when the football phenomenon began in Britain, colored scarves have been traditional supporter wear for fans of football club across the world, even those in warmer climates.

These scarves come in a wide variety of sizes and are made in a club’s particular colors. This scarf type may contain the club logo, their famous players, and various slogans relating to the history of the club.

Some religions such as Islam promote modest dress for women; many Muslim women wear a headscarf often known as a hijab.

The craft of knitting garments such as scarves is an important trade in some countries. Hand-knitted scarves are still common as gifts as well. One of the famous fashion companies that produce silk scarves are Italian brand, Salvatore Ferragamo and French brand, Hermes.
